Respite Care
Respite care is temporary care for the elderly or individuals when their normal carers are not available. Respite care, or carers respite, is typically used as part of recovery after an accident, illness or surgery when regular carers need a break, or additional specialized support is required.
The types of respite care available will ensure that those receiving care will have their requirements met by our expert carers and management team.
The care will involve :
1.Nursing care needs, such as catheter or continence support
2.Personal care, including dressing, showering, and toileting
3.Mobility support, helping your loved one move around the house
4.Administering medication at the correct times
5.Ongoing companionship and emotional support
6.Cooking meals and fetching the food shopping
7.Housekeeping, including washing and drying clothes'
8.Arranging visits out, for a break or to see family and friends
9.Feeding and caring for pets if you have any
